Microblading & Permanent Makeup Chicago

Ombre Powder Brow

My experience as a Make-up artist spans over 20 years and that experience made the transition to permanent makeup come very naturally to me.

Whatever procedure you choose I always start by pre-drawing the eyebrow, eyeliner or lip shape and color and do not be afraid to hurt my feelings this time is meant to make sure the shape is exactly what you dream of. Once you are happy with the shape then I will make it a permanent feature that you can feel confident about.

Powder brows is the choice for you if you love the way it looks when a professional makeup artist does your eyebrows. That is the result of this technique but you get to wake up with this look and it does not wipe off or sweat off, you get to enjoy it for years to come.

Powder brows are the preferred method for people with oily skin or combination oily skin as it lasts much longer than microblading. Powder brow is also the best choice for those who regularly apply makeup with a brow pencil or brow powder because the powder brow technique mimics this effect.

The powder brow method allows your to blend a soft powder effect over the brows to create the perfect shape, resulting in a soft velvety brow powder effect.

Powder brows/ Ombre brows/ Microshading are considered to be permanent makeup that you can expect to fade significantly after about 3 years. Do not apply makeup to the area for about 2 weeks or until after all flaking, itching and redness are gone.

You may want a touch up session for your powder brows and this is common practice. This cannot be done until 4-5 weeks have past since your initial session. Once you have the desired look it is recommended to have a touch up session once a year to keep them looking fresh. If you wait longer than a year it may no longer be considered a touchup.
